At Pop & Weasel, we’re proud to be led by a healthy dose of morals (and a little magic). This informs everything we do from sharing mindful moments of inspiration for our little customers (plus their parents!) to manufacturing to the highest standards. When it came to sourcing the right manufacturing partner to make Pop & Weasel, fair pay and good working conditions were paramount in our decision on who to work with.
Prior to engaging with our manufacturer, we put together a thorough checklist of what we expected from them, ensuring that workers would be treated fairly, and that their working conditions were fair. This led us to make the conscious decision to partner with an industry-leading manufacturer in Belgium, who have offices in Europe and America and who operate factories out of China. Our manufacturer produces shoes for a number of world-renowned brands, and we’re honoured to work with them.
Our manufacturer and their factories are audited and certified by a number of different industry organisations, including: Business Social Compliance Initiative, Disney, Next (UK), H&M (Sweden), and ALDO Group (Canada). BSCI Certification ensures that important international labour standards are being met, along with protecting the rights of workers.
Not only are our shoes at Pop & Weasel made from high quality, eco-friendly materials - they're also 100% vegan. Our manufacturer has PeTA certification meaning that our shoes have no animal products or bi-products of animals in them. It also ensures that no animals were used in the manufacturing or testing of them.
Finally, we'd like to express our gratitude to the highly skilled team who have helped make Pop & Weasel a reality. Navigating language barriers and changing designs, along with their patience and understanding of Pop & Weasel’s unwavering commitment to quality and creativity means the world to us, and the little ones wearing them.
